Every Kansas City student deserves a great education. The Kansas City Leadership Cohort (KCLC) is seeking up to 10 instructional leaders who want to learn practice-based instructional strategies to empower leaders to drive teacher and student success. This unique partnership works with Relay Graduate School of Education’s National Principal Academy Fellowship and includes ongoing training back in Kansas City.

City Year Kansas City

Following a one-year pilot program in two Kansas City schools, City Year Kansas City officially kicked off in five schools in September 2016, making it City Year’s 27th site. The Kauffman Foundation partnered with a coalition of local community supporters to help bring the program to Kansas City.

A non profit training and certification organization to recruit, prepare, and support teachers working in Kansas City’s urban public schools.
