Zero Barriers

You should be able to start a business quickly, inexpensively, without confusion and without barriers.

Our founder, Ewing Marion Kauffman, believed that if you have an idea, you have a fundamental right to start a business to make it a reality. Yet, the startup rate is roughly half of what it was in 1980.

Lend Your Voice to the Movement

Take our Zero Barriers survey and help ensure barriers are removed for entrepreneurs.

We believe entrepreneurship is a fundamental human right for everyone.

You should not need a formal degree. It shouldn't matter your race, your age, your gender, or where you live. You should be able to start a business quickly, inexpensively, without confusion and without barriers.

In true entrepreneurial spirit, we cannot wait for others to fix these problems. We—the dreamers, the makers, the doers—are challenged to act.
