The KC STEM Alliance is a collaborative network of educators, industry, and community partners committed to expanding the pipeline of students prepared to meet the region’s increasing need for highly skilled professionals in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).

The KC STEM Alliance was established in 2011 with a grant from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation and support from industry partners.

Today, more than 14,000 students in metropolitan Kansas City are inspired by hands-on learning and real-world problem solving made possible by the KC STEM Alliance’s support of two world-class STEM programs, Project Lead The Way® and US FIRST®.
