Lauren Aleshire is the senior content marketing specialist in Public Affairs for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. She helps define and execute how the Foundation plans, curates and creates content that supports new entrepreneurial learning user engagement, including strategies for Kauffman FastTrac and 1 Million Cups.
Prior to joining the Kauffman Foundation, Aleshire was the marketing director for United Country Real Estate, where she shaped the implementation of successful office sales and agent recruitment strategies to support organizational growth, built a communication campaign, and managed and measured digital marketing assets. In 2013, she was the marketing specialist at the Pert Group, where she managed the company's online community. She placed second in the Council on Philanthropy Philly Awards in 2009 for her website, hopesquare.org. She is a Big Brothers Big Sisters mentor, the vice president of Girls on the Run Young Professionals Board, and a council person for the Mission Woods City Council.
Aleshire earned a Bachelor of Science in strategic communications with an emphasis in advertising and public relations and a minor in leadership studies from the University of Kansas. She is working toward an MBA at Rockhurst University.
